Designing a fine art photo album for a quinceanera is always fun, as the designs options and decisions go hand in hand with the photography style used for the entire event. Everything start with figuring out whether the album should be oriented as portraits, landscape or square. Ultimately, the overall size and ratio used for the quinceaneras photo-sessions and large elements like the quinceanera's dress as a visual form, could end up being the factor that helps me make a decision as least for the the paper (book) orientation.

For a first draft, I have designed several vertical pages (portrait orientation), following the overall paper orientation of many of the photographs I ended up having from the quinceanera. This initial draft will be presented to my clients for their approval.
